I am an in-house lawyer at G-Research, a quantitative finance research house, specialising in commercial and technology transactions. My expertise lies in negotiating and advising on complex market data, software, colocation and related infrastructure agreements that underpin quantitative research and advanced technology operations. In addition to transactions, I also advise on corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters.
Beyond the ‘pure’ legal work, I lead on operations and transformation for the function, focusing on how we can improve processes by implementing technology solutions (front door, workflows, automation and now Gen AI) and demonstrate value to both our team and the wider business (define and measure KPIs, drive reporting and highlight ‘wins’ internally).
I bring a pragmatic, commercially minded perspective to in-house legal challenges, with a particular interest in building efficient, future-proof legal functions capable of supporting fast-moving, data-intensive organisations.
