In a classic case of ‘never say never’, Steve joined Clarke Willmott in February 2025 following 12 very busy years as a consultant with legal sector specialists, Lights-On Consulting.
Steve’s primary responsibility in moving back in-house with Clarke Willmott is the delivery of the firms three-year Business Strategy, and the development of the longer-term strategy for continued success of the firm out until 2030. In additional to this executive-level accountability Steve has functional responsibility for the firms IT, Transformation and Change, Knowledge, Legal Technology and Innovation teams. The strategic planning and delivery capabilities Steve has developed over a long career spanning sectors including legal, financial services, manufacturing, retail, and charities provides not just a unique set of insights on how to create business strategy, but also the practical experience and skills to deliver this successfully.
Steve is also Board Advisor to Lights-On Consulting, providing insight and strategic thinking to support the development of the high-respected consultancy specialist.
