Ruth Mahfoozpour is the Head of Legal at Platomics, a company specializing in digital solutions for stakeholders in the life sciences sector. Since joining the mature start-up company in 2023, she has established Platomics’ legal function from the ground up as its first legal professional, providing comprehensive support across all areas of law to enable the development and deployment of innovative technologies in a highly regulated industry. Her work primarily involves contract negotiations with international partners, advising product developers, and supporting the marketing and HR teams.
Before joining Platomics, Ruth practiced as an attorney at a prominent international law firm in Austria, where she focused on intellectual property law with a specialization in the life sciences and consumer products markets for several years. Moreover, Ruth holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London, where she concentrated on international intellectual property law.
