At a time when emerging technologies and AI are rapidly changing our world, I advise on advocacy and compliance impact strategies for globally emerging data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity legislation and regulations.

In my current role, as Global Privacy and AI Counsel at IBM, I advise on the organization’s advocacy strategy for shaping harmonized and interoperable data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity legislations and regulatory policies, that foster responsible AI innovation and enable business growth. I advise senior executives, business stakeholders, and a global compliance team on risk-based impact analyses of data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity legal requirements, that drive business strategy.

I also advise on AI ethics, AI use cases, and matters that drive AI thought leadership. As a transformative legal advisor, I have managed a broad range of critical data privacy, regulatory compliance, due diligence, risk mitigation, and high profile strategic M&A deals, for two multi-billion revenue multinational organizations.

As a first generation graduate and lawyer, I also became an adjunct professor to actively shape the future of law and to mentor others in defining their unique path. I proactively add my voice to the legal, data privacy, and AI discourse as an international keynote speaker. I speak to spark new thinking, add insight, inspire impact, and scale strategy.
