In April 2021, Mipe joined Booking.com to found and lead a dedicated strategy and operations function for their global Legal and Public Affairs Department. In this role, she is responsible for running key areas of the department including strategy planning, financial management, team engagement and tech modernisation. She also is the Global Co-Chair of B.bold, the employee resource group for Black employees and their allies. This and other work led the Association of Corporate Counsel to name Mipe one of the Top 10 30-Somethings of 2022.

Prior to joining Booking.com, Mipe worked at Uber where she created the driver engagement function that served as an internal advocate for understanding and improving the driver experience. In this voice of the customer role, Mipe innovated and globally scaled initiatives which generated insights used by product and operations teams to continuously improve upon the customer experience. Mipe also built the foundations of the legal team in Sub-Saharan Africa including serving as legal lead on launching three countries and Uber Eats.

Before Uber, Mipe worked for seven years at Covington and Burling LLP in Washington D.C. where she shared her time between the White Collar Defence and Investigations practice group and the Public Policy and Government Affairs practice group. In addition to leading large-scale white-collar defence investigations, she co-founded the Africa Practice Group which delivered legal, government relations, and CSR strategies for doing business in Sub-Saharan Africa.
