Lucas Markou embarked on his accountancy career in 1999, achieving his qualification as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003. He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance, which laid the foundation for his successful career.
Initially working in a small practice as an accountant, Lucas discovered his passion for taxation. This led him to join Jerroms in 2005 as a tax specialist.
His dedication and expertise quickly earned him recognition, and within a year, he was promoted to associate partner. By 2008, Lucas had become an equity partner at Jerroms.
Lucas is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has been recognised for his contributions to the field of taxation. He has played a pivotal role in several high-profile tax cases and has been a speaker at various industry conferences.
