Leigh Stallard specialises in fixing the “Activation Gap” for B2B SaaS companies – the critical disconnect between selling software and getting users to actually adopt it.
Uniquely, Leigh has sat in every chair at the table. He spent a decade in practice, rising from office junior to internal management accountant, giving him a foundational empathy for the end-user. In 2012, he joined Xero UK as their first internal Account Manager, where he helped pioneer the cloud accounting shift in the UK.
It was during his time at Xero, and subsequently at Soldo and Satago, that Leigh identified a recurring industry failure: vendors were excellent at selling but terrible at building onboarding and activation. He watched firms buy software only to let it sit as “shelfware” because the human side of change was ignored.
To solve this, Leigh became an APMG Change Management Practitioner in 2018. He now combines behavioural science (Nudge Theory, COM-B) with his deep industry experience to architect frictionless onboarding journeys. He helps AccounTech vendors stop forcing water uphill and instead design revenue plumbing that flows naturally.
Leigh is also the host of the Counting on Change podcast and the founder of Nomad Video, using digital assets to scale human connection.
