As Director of Transformation at AAG Group, Julie’s focus is turning strategic ambition into tangible results. Based in Edinburgh, she oversees the firm’s group-wide change portfolio, steering post-merger integrations, digital transformation programmes and cultural evolution so that AAB can realise its bold 2030 vision. By aligning people, processes and technology she supports the organisation to scale sustainably without losing the heartbeat of client service and has a reputation for delivering outcomes that are as human as they are commercial.

Julie brings to the Alternative Accountancy Board a blend of transformation expertise and creative passion. With a background in psychology, and a former leader in marketing and communications across many sectors, she specialises in making change feel accessible – whether that means re-engineering customer experience in financial services, embedding new tech stacks across the NHS in Scotland or curating learning experiences in the University sector that shift mind-sets.

Away from the world professional services, Julie is an exhibiting artist, Chair of the Pittenweem Arts Festival and a Trustee of Care Support Scotland – a portfolio that keeps her connected to creativity, community and social impact. These responsibilities sharpen her empathy for diverse audiences and her instinct for designing experiences that inspire action. Whether she is sketching a canvas or a transformation blueprint, her north star remains the same: bring people together, challenge assumptions and leave things better than she found them.
