Currently Director of Client Innovation at Foot Anstey and once described (much to his annoyance) as a ‘veteran of the legal industry’, Jeff Wright has devoted his 30-year career to transformational change in the legal sector, working with law firms and an LPO and to improve their services and profitability. Previously a solicitor and litigator, he is now a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a member of the Change Management Institute.

Jeff has spent 25 years of that career in a range of senior leadership roles on operational, management and executive boards as a former lawyer and partner, consultant, VP, director, and COO delivering successful, strategic, operational, and structural change and innovation to law firms and their clients.

It has seen him play leading roles in driving profit improvement; improving process efficiency, designing, building, and implementing products for legal publishers and in the insurance and tech sectors, novel outsourcing services and pricing schemes in the financial services sector; creating partnerships with AI providers and introducing new services and capabilities to law firms.

His work establishing a shared service centre for a top 50 law firm was rated as ‘standout’ by the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards. He also played a key leadership role in the 7-year period of growth, which saw TLT turnover going from £60 million to well over £120 million, delivering substantial increase in PEP and earning it the accolade ‘Law Firm of the Year’ from the Lawyer in 2021.
