James has worked in professional services for over 20 years. Notably as a client-facing technical consultant at Mazars where he was responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions for an array of industries, predominantly in the legal, financial and charities sectors then moving, full-time into the legal industry in 2016 as the Head of IT at Lupton Fawcett in Leeds where he was responsible for the delivery of a digital transformation project involving a complete overhaul of their IT systems, processes and infrastructure. Latterly, James has been the IT Director at LCF Law based in Bradford, West Yorkshire since December 2021 where his role is now one of IT strategy, risk & compliance ensuring that his firm and its clients benefit from the latest and greatest the legal tech industry has to offer.
A self-confessed geek with a solid background in infrastructure and security; James loves anything tech-related with a particular focus on tech that can drive efficiency and secure, positive change in law firms.
