I’m an experienced entrepreneur, CEO, marketing consultant and part-time magician. I’ve worked in the B2B tech sector for over 18 years, and have grown and sold an award-winning cloud and data centre business. I can also make a coin disappear three different ways.
I’m passionate about leading people, developing products and services and being part of a business culture that has purpose and vision. But what skills and experience do I have that will make a difference to your company?
Over a 20 year career of running my own businesses, I experienced a lot of bad luck (two recessions and one pandemic), I made a lot of mistakes (often because I didn’t know what I didn’t know) and I had to make a lot of tough decisions (a round of redundancies probably being the hardest).
But through it all, I learned a lot about myself, about running a business and the importance of working with great people. I am a great believer in the three P’s – People, Product and Profit (in that order). If you hire and look after great people, your product will usually be outstanding. With great people and an outstanding product, profits will follow.
