Atul graduated from Delhi University in India and started his career at one of the big four firms in 2007. He moved to the UK in 2014 and specialised in financial services sector, auditing mid to large sized private asset managers, funds, and listed investment trusts. After 12 years of audit experience, He gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a regulatory role, focusing on audit quality reviews across listed and non-listed companies before joining.

Atul is a Partner at Gerald Edelman, leading their audit quality agenda including the ongoing monitoring activities in relation to the system of quality management, providing audit and accounting technical support, and identifying the training needs of the audit department. He is a member of Gerald Edelman’s Risk and Ethic Committees, and a key part of his role is to regularly report to the Management Board on audit quality matters. He also assists the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner in regulatory and compliance matters.
