Sharan is a senior legal operations executive and former barrister with more than 20 years of experience spanning private practice, M&A, and in-house legal functions. She has served as Global Head of Legal Operations and Innovation, leading enterprise-wide legal and compliance transformation programmes across matter management, contract automation, policy management, and compliance infrastructure.
A trusted advisor to Chief Legal Officers and executive leadership teams across highly regulated, multinational organisations, Sharan has held senior roles at Josef, BRYTER, and Thomson Reuters, partnering with Magic Circle and AmLaw firms globally on legal technology-enabled transformation. She brings deep expertise in legal technology evaluation, governance, risk and compliance, and enterprise AI enablement. Sharan holds an LLB (Hons.), LLM, and Executive MBA, and qualified as a barrister.
Sharan has joined NetDocuments as Legal Innovation Partner, where she works within the Applied AI practice, helping customers and prospective clients apply AI to real-world legal use cases.
