I am the co-founder and CEO of Garfield AI, the first SRA regulated AI legal services firm.
Garfield is a web based, AI powered, software application that guides individuals and companies through litigation. Its launch product assists businesses in recovering their debts of up to £10k through the small claims Court process in England & Wales easily, quickly and affordably. Further products are being launched shortly. Since authorisation by the SRA in March 2025 Garfield has scored a series of world firsts including the first AI product to issue Court proceedings anywhere in the world, the first AI product to collect judgments and, recently, the first AI product to be involved in winning a Court trial (against a debtor represented by a traditional law firm).
Separately, I sit as a member of the Advisory Committee of Winward, a commercial litigation funder.
Previously, I was a partner at a leading, specialist, law firm based in London called CYK that I co-founded in January 2009. CYK specialises in resolving high v alue complex commercial disputes and before then I worked at Baker & McKenzie LLP. My areas of legal practice included banking and financial services disputes, insurance and reinsurance claims, fraud cases, technology claims as well as shareholder, corporate, partnership and general commercial disputes.
