The 17th Alternative Legal IT attracts an exclusive audience of CTOs, CIOs, IT directors and heads of digital technology working in the UK’s mid-market law firms.

The Conference offers a curated, content-driven programme combined with plenty of chances to network and socialise.  You’ll meet your peers in legal IT, spend quality time engaging with them and leave having learnt new things and built meaningful relationships.

Our agenda is researched and designed for and by technology leaders – with a focus on helping to provide a strategic roadmap for your firm’s future tech stack, sustainability and profitability.

The invitation-only hand-picked audience includes only those who make, and influence, tech investment decisions.

Demand for this year’s event has been fantastic, and we’ve now run out of complimentary on-site bedrooms! You’re still very welcome to join us, with all meals and drinks included as usual. You’ll just need to book your own accommodation (or join the waiting list for a room). We will be running a complimentary shuttle service between Wyboston Lakes and selected local hotels.

Qualified delegates can register free here.

Reasons you should attend

Generative AI use for law firms

The AI Reckoning

AI is reshaping professional work, narrowing career pathways and concentrating power. Drawing on insider experience from the world's leading legal tech companies, we ask whether efficiency alone is a sufficient organising principle for the future.

Tech stack investment

Who really owns the tech decision?

Managing Partners and IT Directors debate a tension most firms rarely address openly: leadership delegates technology while expecting strategic impact, but does IT really have the authority to make hard calls?

Real deployments, honest results

IT leader to IT leader, no vendor agendas. Find out what is working inside mid-market law firms right now: what has streamlined operations, what has unlocked value from data, and what turned out to be expensive noise.

Better or just busier?

Law firms are spending more than ever on Legal tech and AI, yet many IT teams feel more overloaded than before. We host a Samoan Circle debate bringing the room's honest views to the table.
