ACCOUNTANCY EVENTS ON TOUR

NEW EXCLUSIVE ONE-DAY EVENTS FOR ACCOUNTANCY FIRM LEADERS ACROSS THE UK

Alternative Events are “Going on Tour”, bringing the best bits of our flagship accountancy events to a city near you this autumn.

Attend one of these gatherings to be in great company, as we bring together our community of managing partners, audit partners and IT directors for an event packed with insightful, fun, and engaging content in the usual Alternative Events format covering management & leadership, audit strategies and what’s new in the technology landscape.

Each event will run from 10am-4pm and include keynotes, panel discussions, group therapy sessions/roundtables and our unique Samoan Circle to end the day.  And the most important part – the fabulous networking with our Alternative community of accountancy firms and sponsor partners.

I hope you continue to ensure the programme is set by the attendees and their agenda. Too many events are driven by vendors and exhibitors. One of the unique and refreshing things about this programme was that it seemed to be very much set by the customers.

IRIS

The venue was spacious and perfect for networking. The food was amazing. All the organisers were friendly and helpful.

Wolters Kluwer

Really buzzy, a constant stream of busyness (and business!) The right people, engaged and genuinely interested in our product. Food and drinks were great, nice healthy options and hotel accommodation nice. Also a strong range of speakers and panel talks.

Zoe Jackson

Summatech

Seniority of delegates – all were the decision makers. The way the event was structured with plenty of opportunities for networking and making connections. Just the right balance between plenary sessions, breakouts and networking. I’ve never seen this done so well at a conference before. The app was also very good.

Williams Lee

We had high hopes being new exhibitors, and these were simply met – great conversations with exactly the size and quality of firms we are targeting. The content of the sessions was A+ too.

Ian Cooper

Head of UK Operations, FYI

The event was great, the format of vendors, speakers and delegates worked perfectly and the conversations we had were very productive

Olivia Gates

Enterprise Executive, Suralink

A very positive exhibiting experience and a great environment to connect with new and existing firms

Gavin Sneddon

Account Director, Dot HQ

The event was a big success for us. As first-time exhibitors we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. We had great conversations with a large number of firms

Lachlan Macindoe

VP Marketing, Karbon

It’s a great conference that is now reflecting some of the best ideas that the profession has to offer in the professional development space. And CPD too!

Paul Richmond

Managing Director, theGrogroup

Fantastic day, fully packed agenda, great job by all.

Maria Mason

Partner, BDO UK LLP

Superbly organised, clearly a lot of thought and preparation had gone into the setup which gave the event a real buzz. Most impressive was the level of high profile delegates that attended.

Warren Munson

Founder, Evolve Members

A very valuable experience, with great connections made and I look forward to the 2025 event!

Karen Wardell

Partner, Moore Kingston Smith LLP

The only industry event that’s a must do

Jim Brown

Partner, Blick Rothenberg

Hearing from other firms with similar challenges and about solutions.

Jonathan Booty

IT Systems Manager, Bulley Davey Limited

Networking with other similar sized and forward-thinking practices.

Sarah Slade

Digital Development Manager, Ensors Accountants

Honest sharing of information and struggles of other professionals.

Ercan Demiralay

Partner, Wellers

Meeting people going through the same challenges and size is relevant – meeting great new people.

Rebecca Trudgett

Director, Switchfoot Accounting Limited

Hearing that the larger accountancy firms had made the same decision as I had on their choice of practice software.

Jessica Pillow

Managing Director, Pillow May

I thought that all the speakers were excellent, and the topics were very relevant to the conference.

Ian Thomas

IT Manager, Bevan Buckland LLP

Understanding where everybody else is on the journey to a new age of accounting. It was useful to validate our challenges against those faced by other organisations.

Stuart Seed

IT Manager, MHA Moore and Smalley

Excellent keynotes. Breakouts were a great opportunity to hear others’ experiences of the journeys we wish to embark on or are already going through and discuss the challenges and successes that they and we have had along the way. Speaking to sponsors and networking with other delegates.

Kylie Grant

Project Director, Menzies LLP
